What's in a name?

1019 was the street address of Rosemary Clooney, Terry's mother-in-law. Terry says, "Rosemary was the most generous person I ever knew. Because of her great talent, the house was always filled with the wonderfully creative and talented people. But she could also be tough. She had her favorite chair, a ready martini and when you entered the room you better be prepared to hold your own." Ralph and Terry loved these qualities for 1019: generosity, creativity and a toughness necessary to thrive in the entertainment business.

One of the wise men in history also wrote, "Men prepare a meal for enjoyment, and wine makes life merry, and money is the answer to everything." Ecclesiastes 10:19

What we do

1019 Entertainment is a Los Angeles-based entertainment financing and production company established by industry veterans Ralph Winter and Terry Botwick. 1019 has approximately 20 or more projects in active development at the studios and internally.

1019 Entertainment's mission is to create content that inspires, illuminates, and challenges audiences through well-crafted story telling.
